Look at this great picture of my very own son (who defies description so I won't even try), the ultra handsome and very mature looking Thomas Prettyman, and a pretty young woman named Emily.
for anyone trying to decipher these comments, the original wording of the post was edited in response to input from kiko. kate had originally thought that emily (in the photo) was josiah roe's wife. when she found out that wasn't the case she then assumed emily must be thomas's girlfriend. another false assumption according to lowen.
i remember in 5th grade we were nominating class officers and this kid who got nominated but didn't want the job yelled out: "i declare!" (he meant decline).

April is Josiah's wife, not Emily. Both beautiful friends of mine. :)

Sienna, did you mean "hari-kiri" or is that a movie quote or inside joke?
inside joke.. mom said it once. :) she meant "hari kiri".
I figured since you had it in quotes... Funny. Malapropisms are always good for a chuckle.

Now I am insanely curious: who the heck IS Emily? A mysterious mystery...
