Lowen proposed to Jonlyn Linville on the eve of May 9th here in his hometown of Cambridge. What a surprise! Lowen, send me the pictures we took that eve. so I can post one.

Nectarines and a Mother's Day Greeting.

This is the one and only zany Brae holding a nectarine with an engraved message on it that says Happy Mother's Day in Chinese. Brae and China deserve each other - that's for sure! Thank you Brae for the greeting and this is to all you moms out there.

It is the long-awaited May 1 and I can now say, "BRAE WILL BE HOME NEXT MONTH!"

ALSO, it is the official countdown to my sister's son's wedding..."10!"... All my Chattanooga kids have 9 days to get it together and land here! I believe in you guys. You can do it.

Also, my best friend in the seventh grade-Jane Gallagher-I always remember that it is her birthday today! I wish I knew her number. She is in Annapolis somewhere. Gotta go sub.
