Pax is a daddy!

This is the orphaned Ping who was rescued with a crabbing net at the little beach by the radio station. It is eating its grain and drinking and chirping and paddling around in our bathtub, but mostly nestled in its cardboard box near Pax's bed. The little mallard has lived with us for three days.

May Ping never have to be last on the boat.

My goodness, Pax is a good looking young man!

And, yes, I second the wish that Ping never has to be last on the boat...

Deqar Ukrainiac, I have been meaning to thank you for all your loving and fun comments over the year--it is so sweet of you that in your busy life you actually read your church family's stuff--thanks for not forgetting us.

Kate, sorry but I'm responding to Kyrie. Kyrie, sorry but I can't comment on your blog without a password. I hate paswords. However, I love my big dog, but I didn't open myself up to that until I was 34 and bought (yes, bought) one for my boy (10 yr old Greggy who needed a body to love). Since those early days with London, I have grown to love my labs and not even mind that they stink. As far as discipline, invite Maria to come and train any dog out there. I'm holding out for you, Kyrie. One day someone you love may love a big dog, and you may change your mind. It will be a victory. I'm certain.
